Murder Mystery Comedy

Shasta Sunset Dinner Train owner, Jeff Forbis: Murder On The Rails was "one of the best thing we ever did on that train." An actual 3 hour tour wherein vintage rail passengers enjoyed 5 star dining as they cruised through spectacular mountain scenery while interacting with a hilarious whodunnit written by Doug York and Paul W Warshauer.

Soothing instrumental music. Doug plays all 21 instruments. Produced by John Mazzei. This music brought a calm to listeners to the Unitarian Church in Manhattan. More than 200 people were served in the "soup kitchen" while Doug played a "prayer" for his audience. Breathe is a favorite for massage therapists to accompany a treatment. Also great listening in bath, massage, or while reading or dining. Especially good to calm down kids. Music for the mind and the soul.

Taught by Portland musical great, Mel Brown, my approach to music is to have fun and pass it on.

The Godfather of Portland jazz Mel Brown performs regularly at Jimmy Mak's in Portland.

CREATIVE for Business

Sales and Advertising

In 1998, President Tim York of Mapping Solutions, Inc. hired Doug to help launch his engineering firm into a new channel: Public Safety. Doug's first step was bold, to promote the company mission in a focused statement: "We Map the World". Next, to solve the overwhelming amount of interest in their products and services by Fire Departments all over the globe, Doug strengthened the company's ability to manage it's key relationships by integrating ACT! software. Now, almost ten years later, the company has hired Doug again to help save the lives of firefighters and the people they serve around the world, from Santa Ana to Amsterdam. Mapping Solutions, Inc. is literally "mapping the world" with every GIS/Mapping Solution they install, one map at a time.

When the Tulelake Community Partnership hired Doug to help revitalize their ailing local economy, we designed a brochure and website to promote the unique characteristics of this California community. Tulelake is well known as the "Horseradish Capital of the World" it is also boasts America's premier gateways for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts. Doug's brochures and websites offered a call for response to tourists to the area and welcomed visitors to attend community events, enjoy nature and get involved with the Chamber of Commerce.

Doug helped Shasta Visions to realize it's vision of becoming the best "peace products" company to still make it's products here in America. Shasta Visions produces and distributes "The Most Beautiful Planets on Earth".
